I'm fairly sure it's a copy/casting but....

    I sniped it for 17, and yeah fairly positive it's a cast copy
    but I don't see the $20 set getting a real one (then again said the same about the 1804 lol)
    so here she is... rip her apart

    Oh please... I know it makes me a "stinker" but it was cheap enough to make a good hole filler.. You know I will make sure it's marked as a fake unless it convinces me it's real once in hand.. besides it's in good company as I'm still fairly sure the 1793 chain cent my brother sent me is a copy coin as well (but a damn damn good one in that case lol)

    I totally get it. My Merc dime book has a contemporary counterfeit 16-D plugging the hole while the genuine article is slabbed... I loathe empty holes..

    Aside from those rims, it looks pretty convincing, and will blend well with the rest of the $20 collection.

    Let us know the test results when it comes in.
    Someone spent some time making it and a nice example, wonder what time period.

    If it is real you just got a steal for a (should be ) $100+ coin,hope on the positive side definitely,let us know.

    Wrong reverse, has the reverse of 1814 S-295.
