Crazy reverse toning on this ender! That old paper makes some nice toning.

 

You can see where the paper was easily on this ender. These were some very old OBW rolls.

 

Such a huge obv-rev contrast!

 

VLDS, has that very bright LDS luster. 1954P is a tough year for Lincolns! Oddly, the branch mints made more and better looking coins.

 

Some nice, subtle red toning and semi-matte fields on this one.

Generally pleasant ring toning in this OBW find. Finding a nice one of these is difficult in BN/RB. Nobody cares about them unless they are red - except me I suppose. I just couldn't toss this into the junk pile because nice, BN with luster examples are scarce IMO.

 

A friend knows I like green toning - he was right again! Nice reverse on this puppy too.

 

He also sent me this ring toner from an OBW. This one has a very nice look to it in hand.

Super hard to find attractive 91D toner. This one pops in hand!

 

Paid a whopping $3 for in 1990 at a "Flea market".

 

Much went wrong with this LMC: Misaligned die; partial collar; 30% indent with brockage.
