Did people find it hard to select a Tiberius to acquire? You don't come across them every day it seems to me.

In my experience, such as it is, some definitely come up more often than others. There is one I have been keeping an eye out for in the past year to no avail. It may just be one of those that shows up every 15 or 20 years. I missed out on an interesting one recently. It was the denarius with the quadriga reverse, but at least 2 of the horses were looking backwards. Apparently there are a few of these around but not too many.

Now if you want a tribute penny, that would be a different story. There seems to be no end of those.

I hadnt noticed this one before. Once again, its both Greek and Roman, and a seriously cool one:

    Pisidia, Etenna, 1st Century BC
Obv: Nypmh advancing right, head turned to left, holding coiled serpent. Amphora to left.
Rev: Curved knife, E T E across fields.

That was a great start @Roman Collector !

@Yolonda do you know if the book in that CNG auction description was ever published because it sounds very interesting. A quick search of Amazon didn't reveal anything.

I suspect you clicked the wrong auto-complete name. Did you mean Volodya?

Regardless, I'm going to start calling him Yolanda :D
