As many know, I have an affection for Marcus Anthony coins so I own several. A few weeks ago, Doug showed a commemorative Marcus Anthony coin struck by Marcus Aurelius issued 168 AD commemorating the 200th anniversary of the battle of Actium. So I had to have one to go along with the Legionary denarii I own.

Guilty as charged. My main reason for existence is to encourage others to spend money on ancient coins and keep in business the dealers who supply my habit. If I were the only one who liked these things, the sellers would starve to death and I would not be able to get any more coins. Nothing makes me feel better than leading to the darkside those who could be buying bullion rounds in MS71. :cigar:

Ah, the Battle of Actium, where young Octavian showed he was a true military commander...sitting ashore watching Agrippa do all the planning, strategy, and all the fighting.

@Bing That is a pretty commemorative coin.

Nice coin Bing, haven't seen that type before. Looks like we are always influencing each other in buying certain coins.
