Metal Detecting - Puerto Rico Beach - 5 Rings

Hello everyone,
Welcome to my 42,000th post celebration thread


My wife and I are on vacation in Puerto Rico. This is our last full day before returning to NYC..

I have my Vanquish 440 Metal Detector with me and was able to do 3 days of early morning detecting on Condado Beach..




Here are my finds

Day 1 - Rings #1 & #2


Day 2 - Ring #3


Day 3 - Rings #4 & #5

The lone ring was 925 Silver.. the other 4 were junkers

What a nice haul. You did better in PR than NYC. I hope you and your wife had a great vacation. Keep those beaches nice and clean.

Hehe.. it was complete. I just folded it so you can get a better view of the goods

 

Nothing. I even detected my family home which was built in the mid 1960's but only found some old pieces of miscellaneous metal.

 

Nope. I eyeballed it on the sand when I was swinging away.

Not exactly taxable in England. Your findings, depending upon what you find, ie: antiquities, are actually the possession of the crown.
