Pushes the definition of exonumia a little but got these medals this weekend.

This first one is missing the pin, ribbon and suspension bar but the details are amazing. I love the unit (artillery, infantry, cavalry, navy and bugle corps?) symbols in the corners. This medal is for the Grand Army of the Republic which was an advocacy group for veterans of the Civil War.

This next one is a heavy silver medal for service in the Matabele wars for the British South Africa Company. 1893

    fretboard Defender of Old Coinage!

Here's some new ones I picked up recently, mainly pictorials as usual and some scarce ones! First one is called a sash token from 1868, to be worn, this one is definitely rare! Oh and the Mayan Plumed Serpent from 1933 is from the Chicago Worlds Fair, also a rare one for sure! :D

Awesome man! I chuckled at a few. I like the "I will get there" one.
Also, the fishing products one is cool too. :)

Just a few more! :cigar: The Ben Franklin was made in France, I forget the year but definitely not in 1706! :) The last two tokens are girly tokens, the Silhouette Club token is from the 1960's and the last one is dated, htf for sure! :D

Picked up this beauty today for only 50 baht. Weighs 65.09 grams, 52mm D. Came in a plastic box with a red and white ribbon for wearing about the neck. I am awaiting a translation of the reverse, so for now it is just "Japanese sports medal" ND Japan Sport Medal.jpg

Bamboo Viper club token Phan Rang Air Base Vietnam, brass, 4.6 grams, 21mm, rotated 90 degrees. I posted a 25c piece a few years ago but this came up on Ebay and it's one of my favorites.

Phan Rang was a huge Air base with many different aircraft over the years-fighters, bombers, Spooky Gunships, psyops aircraft etc. But I think my favorite was the troop carrier Fairchild C-123 Provider. Nicknamed "Thunder Pig."

And here's Thunder Pig in action. :p
