Doubling on bicentennial quarter

    I see a little bit of notching on the 7 and the 6 but I'm not sure if it's doubled

    Die Deterioration. Look at the overall thickness of the digits.

    Look at the stems on the 7s in 1776. How can the top stem fit completely inside the underlying stem? That's caused by a skip; the die took a bad hop.
