All i can say is let it be the one!! Can I get some more advice from fellow hunters? Is it the 1958 DD0? Thanks.
very very unlikely but one never knows. There are in fact two known and a third one is suspected. All from the same original owner. Sound suspicious?
Is that so? I've known of a few examples being known, but not owned by the same person, kind of makes ya wonder now if he had a connect on the inside of the mint in the late 50s
It would not surprise me that 1 owner has both since these coins are produced in lots and where there's 1, there a 90% Probability that there is another. Had the erroneous die been found and the lots produced by that die been destroyed then it still would not surprise me that both were found concurrently.
I know Pete Miller (ESM) owns at least one. I thought Stewart Blay also owned one. These two people may not have been the original owners. Post #5 doesn't say both coins are now owned by one person, only that the original owner did.
