1771 1 Skilling - Norway or Denmark??

    Numista shows a listing for a Denmark coin and a Norway coin that look identical to me but with different km numbers. Help - what do I have here? Either way happy for under $5. 11.49g

    The rosettes on the Norwegian reverse are normally smaller. It was minted for 1 year only, whereas the Danish mint produced them for 15 years with the date frozen at 1771. I don't know if yours is severely worn at the bottom of the reverse, but there should also be a rosette beneath the date.

    I have one like this and the 2X2 is marked Denmark. I'm not really sure that is correct.

    there is a rosette beneath the date, it is just extremely worn.
