So I've had this coin for a while now, but just got a coin microscope! :) I noticed the mint mark was weird in the past and suspected this variety. The microscope helps show that there is definetely something funny going on. The variety large over small "D" might be the explanation. It's a pretty decent coin, it does have some chatter in the obverse fields but still has a nice overall look.

Hello! Not sure about the mintmark but this coin is very handsome and reasonably clean. :)
