I been going through the family change jar that finally got full. I check all mine when it's put in my hand. Guess the wife or kids brought it home..

 

If that’s the case and you find coins like this, all I can say is “Check more often”. Lol

 

I was shocked for sure. I havent found anything very entresting in awhile. I told the wife to check it out and she was like it's a dime. Lol

 

Was thinking of sending it to Anacs but that's probably a waste of time.

 

The scratches make it unreasonable to send for grading. It won’t straight grade but it would get a details label. Best to save your money and keep as is.

 

You sure that's an off center?looks more like a uncentered broadstrike.

 

I'm not into errors so I have no clue without some research.

 

Looks like it's faced a few coin sorters/rollers in hand-to-hand combat. Great find!

 

You bring up a good point that I hadn't considered. I think off centers and uncentered broadstrikes occur in the same way, but if any of the details are cutoff it is considered an off center.
