Flying eagle ,need help on the grade

    The FE is small letters, low leaf reverse and F.
    here's my Large letters, low leaf 1858 FE.

    It's a nice coin but nowhere close to VF35 in my opinion. Look at the pic and decide for yourself:

    Obverse VF, Reverse VG+. The tail feathers are sharper than an NGC VF30 I have, otherwise looks to show a little more wear.

    With it in hand it resembles the 25 more than the others. Matches almost perfectly. IMO it is a 25 . Thanks you guys have been awesome.

    I thought the same thing about the tail feathers. Any Ideas on possible value in this condition

    Raw it'll sell for $35-$50. Certified it'll sell for $50-$70. IMO

    Nice looking coin, and strike quality makes these challenging to grade. It would be interesting to see what a TPG would grade it, but I doubt you would recapture the grading fees. JMO

    Yes I understand that, would be nice to know what it would receive at grading. Has a nice tone in hand

    Here's my PCGS VF30. It goes to auction soon and I bet it won't surpass $85.
