I just received this today when I went fishing, my friend who is NOT a collector asked me if I want this note.
Heck yes! Any sort of old-school currency is a definite collectors item. It may not be worth too much more over face value, but the rarity/chances of getting one in circulation is so great that it's a feat and achievement to find one.
There are at least two ways of looking at this note. IF you collect circulated finds at face value, this is a treasure. It's probably 50 years old and a survivor. You don't see these in circulation very often any more. IF you collect uncirculated notes, star notes, fancy serial numbers, error notes, experimental notes, or large size notes and pay above face to get them, then this note is ordinary at best.
