Coin shop had some good stuff not priced yet so I picked up a few at what I hope will have turned out to be a good price. Also got some nice junk bin pickings.

    First, Latin America:
Costa Rica, 50 Centavos, 1866 Costa Rica 50 Centavos 1866.jpg

Puerto Rico, 10 Centavos, 1896. I rarely see Puerto Rico Coins. This is my second. Puerto Rico 10 Centavos 1896.jpg

Uruguay 4 Centésimos 1869 H (Heaton Mint). Attractive condition for $6

Uruguay, 1000 Pesos, 1969 (FAO circulating commemorative). 0.900 Ag.
Got it for $18 US, which is a little over melt. Uruguay 1000 Pesos 1969.jpg

And the rest of the "junk/unsorted" for about $5 for the bunch. I believe the Norway 10 Øre is silver, and there's a Colombia leper colony 1921 5 Centavos in there as well. So I'm pretty happy with the lot!

    Three early USSR small silvers:
    Russia (USSR) 10 Kopeks 1925; 15 Kopecks 1923, 1927 (0.500 Ag)
I think most of the early USSR silver would up being melted down, especially with the demands for hard currency during WW2. I don't see these very often, but they weren't very expensive--a little over US $20 all together.

How much was the CR 1866?

The spotted toning is there, but a decent amount of meat there for an earlier 50c.

I got a price for the entire lot, but I estimate the portion for that coin was about $35 US. I don't love the splotches, but there's a lot of detail left, so I'm content with it.
