I picked up a 1913-D Type 1 Buffalo Nickel and a 1902 Baber Dime yesterday. In my ever evolving quest to self grade coins, I would appreciate your grade and evaluation of them to help verify what I graded them at. This is my second attempt at taking coin pictures. I'm still not happy with them, but they came out better than my first attempt.

P.S. There is a white hair/fiber from the nose of the Indian to the edge of the coin, it is not a scratch. BDO1.JPG BDO2.JPG BDR1.JPG BDR2.JPG BNO1.JPG BNO2.JPG BNR1.JPG BNR2.JPG

I like the strike on your buffalo. I have 2 Ty 1's, one was a somewhat recent grab to replace the other. Has a nice Rev strike but don't think quite as sharp as yours.

There are also two small die cracks off of the short feather, and right off the top of the Indian's head. I like them.

Can't tell from the pictures if the dime has been cleaned but I would give it a Mid AU grade. 53/55 leaning towards 53
