I'm not really into Greek coins, but I got this in a uncleaned lot. After a internet search, I matched this with a picture of a Thessaly, Larissa mint 400-334 BC head of nymph coin, AE-18. I'd like confirmation on the ID, and I'd like to know how much this coin usually sells for. I'm sorry for the terrible photos, I just can't get a sharp photo of this coin
Like I said on another thread, I don't have my computer so I can't really check. But it does look like it is from Larissa. I have found Larissa coins can be expensive in decent condition.
I agree: Thessaly, Larissa; obverse of Larissa facing slightly left, reverse horseman riding right. eBay is the best place to check comparable prices since auction houses like CNG (who has a great archive) will only have this coin in a much better state of preservation.
