Has anyone hear had any dealings with the Royal Dutch Mint. Just curious what others experience has been. I placed an order April 23rd. After a month of not hearing from them I started sending emails, that were never responded to. They don't post a phone number to call or have a chat bot available. Finally at the beginning of July I received an email (not a response to mine) stating that they were have difficulties with the customs paperwork. They finally sent me a tracking number this morning and surprise, it shows to be out for delivery today. They appear to have neat stuff but I probably won't purchase directly from them again. I like the retro coin designs. Here is what is coming:
In the past I used to be regular customer of theirs, never had a problem. But, the world has changed a great deal since then, especially when it comes to things like customs regulations and the difficulties faced regarding them. I suspect the delay had everything to do with somebody else and little to nothing to do with them. But who knows, it have been something as slight as a typo on paperwork, a missed check box, almost anything.
I understand the customs stuff. I've had enough stuff delayed because of theat. I am more concerned with the lack of communication.
