Not about e-bay either but about sellers

Ever try shopping for PL or DPL morgans?

It seems every prick with a "shiny" morgan thinks it's PL and list's it that way... Ok not a real big deal for raw coins, but slabbed?

If it don't say PL or DPL on the label it AIN'T a PL damn it!!! I swear 9 out of 10 morgans listed as PL or DPL coins have NOT been graded as PL so damn well shouldn't be listed as such. Ok maybe 1 or 2 do rate PL grades but the same seller will list 10 coins saying they all look PL when 8 of em are cleaned/polished and the other 2 would not even grade XF...

Ok sorry end of rant :D

A year ago I noticed a listing that gave a crippled Morgan a MS-85 grade for big bucks. It is the Stupid Dust Effect. It snuck into the atmosphere along with Covid and Politics and all still exists I am sorry to say.

I have the same reaction when searching "NGC" or "PCGS" and raw coins show up!

What I personally hate more are certified Gold coins listed as PLUS or PQ, and occasionally listed as CAC only with raw coin images.

I see these coins listed in MS66 and above condition, with gross "bag rub" and "bag marks".

It's becoming very difficult to locate "old standards" GEM condition coins at anywhere close to CDN pricing.

I was recently collecting MS69-70 "top tier" TPG graded $2.5 proof coins, but discontinued after Gold price reduction followed by Graded coin price escalation, why?

I dislike any listing of a certified coin with juiced photos, not just the ones claiming to be “PL” without the designation. It is usually obvious when a flash or other bright light is used to make the coin’s surfaces look better than they would under normal lighting, and I refuse to bid more than what an average specimen for the grade would be worth.

I've returned more then a few coins over "juiced photos" Probably the worst offender out there is "AuctionKings" bunch of scabby crooks using juiced and "stock" photos to sell their bottom drawer junk

What I hate about eBay is misinformed people watching Facebook and Instagram, then clogging searches with complete garbage.
