Well, many thanks to my Brother Sallent for sending me this very fine ancient Roman coin, but you other Brothers (Sisters too :)) are going to have to help me out on this one.......What the devil do I have? I recognize Concordia on the reverse, but I'm at a quandary as to who the emperor is.

First off, I've been out of town for a few days, so I missed the coins arrival. Today I finally got a chance to image the piece. It's a lovely specimen, with a chocolate brown look to it. The first images I post will belie that........

I shot these photos under some square head lights (I can say that because I am one) to really show the detail. I'm very impressed with the relief (high) of this coin......unlike most of our moderns.

These were shot with existing light and truly represent the color of the coin, though the detail is lacking. Probably should have hiked the ISO. These were all shot at 64.

Sallent? Brother? You are a Gem........:)
