Anyone here subscribed to buy the Peace or Morgan's from the US Mint? Just wondering, I slept thru the 2021 sale on the Peace Dollar and I wanted one, so I had pay double to get one, hate when that happens! I only wanted the Peace Dollar tho' so that saved me some money! :D How about you, no interest, already subscribed to buy?? Anyone? :cigar:

I’m staying out. I was all in for the 2021 release. That made sense to me. But now it feels line the US mint is riding that horse into oblivion.

Not me, I'm done with the US Mint and their fabrication of scarcities.

Yeah, me, too. I liked the idea of a minty-fresh, well-struck silver Peace dollar dated '21 so I got one. Got one of the Morgan's, too. One's enough, though, not inclined to get any more.

I'm subscribed for one of each. It will be interesting to see what the mint site is like on 'game day'.

I have a subscription for the uncriculated, proof, and reverse proof. I unchecked my subscriptions for the uncirculated and proofs because I realized that they are minting 275,000 and 400,000 respectively. I figured now that if I really wanted one there will be plenty available next year once the rush wears off. I have better coins to bye at present and that takes president.

The mint is too rich for my blood. I buy coins from Ebay.

after being screwed out of a 21 not once, not twice but 3 damn times, and then not landing a single 22 I'm no longer willing to buy ANYTHING from the US Mint they can keep their 2nd rate copy coins. I'm more then happy with My 2022 CC DC :D with my eye out to pick up a 21 from him as well (he made a 21 anniversary morgan with an outer ring as well I want lol... I think zoid posted one a while back...)
PS it was one of the last ones (they out of stock now) :p

I can kind of understand doing the peace dollar each year to commemorate the 100th year.
Anything past the 2021 to commemorate the last year of the Morgan is nothing short of a money grab by the mint.

I have absolutely no interest in a 20 anything from the Mint in the way of a Morgan dollar. If I want to Morgan dollar I’ll get one of the original ones. Same with a piece dollar. It’s just all hype and I want no part of it.

I am hoping DC releases 1929-1933 Peace dollars for the corresponding anniversaries.

I have a 3 coin subscription for the uncirculated, proof, and reverse proof of the peace dollar only. (Well the RP I get both).

Thank you. These are not Morgan Dollars and Peace Dollars. They were anniversary commemorative coins in 2021. They are NOT a continuation of the real issues from 100 years ago— they are the US Mint’s version of the Franklin Mint. It is a make money scam by the mint. No serious Silver Dollar collector would consider them a continuation of the Morgan and Peace dollars, ending in 1921, and beginning in 1921. Sorry, but that dawg don’t hunt.

I'm in for a reverse proof set.

As the date nears the regular proofs are tempting me now. No interest in the uncirculated. I bought batches of the 2021 Morgans and kept three of the 2021 Peace. Sent them all to NGC and got 70s except for a few. Both Peace were 70s and I suspect my third one in OGP could 70 as well. I gave a fourth Peace away for Christmas.
I bought the 2021-D Morgan in a MS70 slab for $250 in December of 21 to have the full, perfect set. I love them but even I am going to start getting burn out on the series after this year. If the 2024s happen I'll pass on all. The mint's going to have to rely on the late night tv shows as the series goes on.

It would have been better for the mint if the anniversary issues were circulated strikes and 90.0% Silver.
