I keep coming back to this with one thought….. I know the green oval CAC is their corporate identifiable logo….. I just wonder if it will lead to any confusion on the bourse having that logo on their slabs?

I think I know what you’re saying. But the idea is that all of their problem-free, straight graded slabbed coins are already considered “green beaned.”

Not exactly. There is an "L" designation applied to CAC pieces crossing to CACG. No confusion at all.
The same standards will apply to CAC stickered and CACG slabbed pieces. Standards of evaluation will not change because it is now being graded and encapsulated by CACG.

If someone is confused on the Bourse between a green or gold sticker with a logo on other TPG slabs, and a CACG slab, I would be very surprised, and question whether that person should be spending $ on coins.

L for “Legacy,” Randy. As in, “this coins legacy was that it was once a PCGS CAC xf45,” and now it’s a CACG XF45. But yeah, if you sub it a raw Seated Half to CACG and it comes back AU58, that means it is equivalent to a PCGS or NGC CAC stickered AU58.

I like the look of the slab but I won't be buying any soon.

How do you think this could affect PCGS and NGC values?

I don’t bid / offer above Pcgs or NGC money anyway so a moot issue for me.

I don’t see any impact on NGC or PCGS values. Both TPG dominate the number of slabs on eBay by far and will continue to do so.

So if the coin isn’t equivalent to a PCGS or NGC coin with a CAC sticker it gets sent back with no slab at all, just a body bag?
