the best cent roll's ever

    today i got $25 a box of cents, and found my first indian head cent in a roll, it's in very bad shape ,i need help with the year
    15 wheet cents,
    1945 x 3
    1955 d x 2
    1949 d
    1946 s
    1951 d
    1956 d
    1940
    1953 d
    1957 d
    1958 d
    1944 s
    1920
    and 14 canada pennys.oh and in one of the shot gun roll's i can see the rev of a wheet cent, i dont know what to do, i have never got one like that, do i open it or not?helpmeplease

    The IHC looks like 1891.

    Nice haul for a box of cents. That shotgun roll can be made by anyone with the proper tools, it doesn't necessarily mean that it is 'untampered'.

    And, yes, open the roll.

    Looks like a 1891 to me. Nice to find a 106 year old coin in todays rolls.

    1891 to me too


    I've gotten a roll before where BOTH ends showed the reverse of a wheat cent.

    I opened it up and they were the only two in the roll...and both from the late 50's :(
