    To answer your thread title question I will say no for the sole reason that I am curious to see how big NGC slabs can actually get :happy:

    On a more serious note it is a lovely piece and a sight to behold at that size

    So how doe such a large piece get a PF 70 rating? It seems like with a larger surface there is exponentially more space and chances for scratches or damage. How the heck did they manage a perfect specimen this large?

    With appropriate after-strike handling; you'd expect that of a medal this nice. That said, I see what looks like a mark on the surface below the hand holding the spear. If that's on the coin, it isn't a 70.

    That's incredible. One of my favorite medals. That's the Biggest medal I've seen. .Does it have the cornucopia mint mark for Paris on it?
