I thought I had more 1832 coins, but kind of in the midst of computer woes. Once again, I got lazy and took my ailing computer to a Thai shop and when it came back, uh, not quite the same. I should have just bought the parts I needed and done the work myself. Meanwhile, love panzerman's gold, as always. He is one of the few coin collectors in the world with the brains and the cojones to really go for it.

Here is another U.S. coin, an 1831 Capped Bust Quarter, Small Diameter.

    1831 Quarter All.jpg

This was the first modern U.S. quarter, which was struck in a closed collar. The obverse, reverse and reeded edge were stuck at the same time. This type was issued from 1831 until mid 1838.

I love those Channel Islands coins, and yours are right clean. Meaning in tip top condition, not "cleaned". OK, see if I got any 1830 to upload...All Guernesey.
