Serious update for my Jefferson Collection

Coin Roll Hunting today I came across a nice update for my 1939 S Jefferson. The attached photo shows the one that has been in my collection since the late 40's or early 50's. It had to have been the best I ever found until today. Plus, the very nice one came out of a roll today.

Wow, it looks like someone cashed in grandpa's roll of Jeff's. That's a sweet CRH'ing find.

 

I'm trying to grade it. Perhaps AU would be pushing it a bit. Any thoughts out there?

 

Great job. I don’t see 38’s anymore. Found a couple a 39 D’s. If I ever get furryfrogs address I’m going to send him one. Only one he needs. You did great. Enter that in lordmarcovan new find contest. I vote for it I think

 

The best I have done this year is a 1900 Liberty Nickel.

Yes, the bottom one I have had in my album since I was a little kid. I just found the top one today. Of course, I switched them in the album.

I hit a good batch this time. I just pulled a 1943 D Silver Nickel from the lot. You hit a good batch from time to time.

 

...and then spent the other one...

 

I finished this batch of rolls. I found:
39 S, 40 P (2), 41 P, 43 D, 48 P, 48 S
51 D, 52 D, 54 S, 54 D, 55 D, 57 D

Circulation finds

 

1900 Liberty Nickel was a coin roll find. That would be the same as a circulation find, right?

 

Very nice find! I haven’t roll hunted for Jefferson’s in a long time.
