Cilicia, Hieropolis Tyche and Eagle

    Going to be away for the next week so I can't see any of my babies... I mean coins. :confused: :D So I'm going to post one more before I leave tomorrow. After I come back, I will post more coins. Hopefully the mailman will have delivered them already, man I feel so addicted to these things. :oops:

    O: Turreted head of Tyche right, monogram behind
    R: IEROPOLITWN TWN PROSTW PURAMW, city goddess seated left in kalathos, eagle under seat

    Ummm, I have a few Cilician coins from that era (wanna see 'em?)

    => Tyche is in the middle-two examples ... very cool coin-types (congrats again, my coin friend)

    Most will prefer looking at a picture of present day Zakynthos instead...
