My latest nickel box produced a good assortment of goodies. Leading the list was a barely readable 1925 Buffalo followed by a 1943-P war nickel. Honorable mention finds were a 1951-S and a 2009-P. The early decade count showed five from the 1940s and ten from the 1950s. Another interesting note were nine Frisco finds from 1968-1970.

    Crazy find at the bank.
Went in for coin wrappers, left with 8 90% and 1 40% half. Walkers and Bennies! I saw them in the tray but was surprised at how many. Pictures speak for themselves. 20230717_205214.jpg 20230717_205148.jpg

I picked up a couple of rolls in my fruitless search for another W, silver, S mint, etc.
The last TON of tiny hunts have just been complete blanks. I did pull out an Acadia and a Chaco Canyon. Yesterday I get 2 rolls and they are all brand new Eleanor Roosevelts. So no W's but they are in very good condition (usually the Loomis coin rolling machine just destroys them) many have great luster and very few/minimal nicks. So I will just take the nicest example for my album and move on.

Up until today the only W's I have ever found were from searching rolls. I figured I would find one metal detecting, I would find one in my change. Nope, nope. When I go to the store I use the self serve and I usually am able to put in the right amount to get 2 or 3 quarters back in change. (I hate when it's all dimes.) But very often I get 1 or 2 looks for a W. Sometimes my GFs change will pile up and I will give her bills for it. I already have this one, but always a welcome addition.

About $22 in small dollars and halves... nothing of interest.

I lived in Lowell. I was excited to see they made W Lowell coins. Furry frog. Gave me 10 of those. I have a 1939D nickel I want to give him if I ever get his new address. Any help finding him

In the last 5 rolls (I did pull out an El Yunque) here are the looks from right to left.
3, 1, 6, 4, 4 the very 1st one on the right edge was self serve change at Wally World yesterday. I haven't looked at them yet. But if there's a W, crappy photos will follow.

Still hard for me to get butterflies quarters in Buffalo. Have 13 Quarter albums to fill. Only 10 p’s. And 1 D. Buy like 3-5 rolls a week. Ooops. Have 4 D’s. Just looked. Mark68 helped

Still like looking at your silver find. That’s like a 9 out of 10 graded find

Went into the bank to get some cash and asked the teller if they had any halves..."Yes, I have $140, how much do you want..."
