1973 Dime - Is This a Struck-Through-Grease Error?

Discussion in 'Error Coins' started by Brandon Purdum, Jun 29, 2023.

  1. The rough look of this dime seems to match some of the struck-through-grease errors I've seen online. Maybe it's post-mint. Any thoughts?

If this were an Asian coin: I would think it were counterfeit (because this condition is indicative of a counterfeit Asian coin.)

I hope someone has more knowledge, and better advice for you.

I have had the same questions.
