I need some help on this Follis of either Maximinanus or Maximinus. I cannot find an exact match for either of these two emperors. I wonder if this is some kind of "mule" or somebody's fantasy piece or an unusual pairing of information. The coin weighs 9.7 grams and seems to have at least a surface of pretty good silvering on the obverse but a bit of porosity on the reverse. What's the problem? The card I got with this coin identifies it a Follis of MAXIMIANUS from the Aquileia mint (AQ and gamma bottom reverse). Indeed the obverse reads MAXIMIANUS NOB CAES. The problem with this is that Maximianus was not a Noble Caesar. Now if this is a coin of Maximinus II Daia the inscription should be MAXIMINUS. The reverse is not much help. It reads, SACRA MONET AVGG ET CAESS NOSTR showing Moneta with scales. There is the letter U at 3 o'clock on the reverse. I thought it was pretty close to Sear 14762 and the original owner has it as RIC Aquileia 30b. What I am trying to find out is, is this a coin of Maximianus (as Caesar?) or Maximinus II Daia even though the obverse has it as Maximianus. Any help appreciated
