I'm still really new to collecting so I came seeking input from you folks that are way more knowledgeable than I. To me it looks like doubling but maybe I've been looking at coins for too long today and I'm just seeing something I to want to see.

    I look forward to your input. 69-1.jpg 69-2.jpg WIN_20230626_13_20_52_Pro.jpg WIN_20230626_18_22_49_Pro.jpg WIN_20230626_18_29_00_Pro.jpg WIN_20230626_18_32_03_Pro.jpg WIN_20230626_18_32_48_Pro.jpg WIN_20230626_18_37_31_Pro.jpg

Welcome back! This is NOT a DDO. Just machine doubling. This is an example of the infamous 1969S DDO.

The Mint Mark would not be Doubled because in 1969 it was hand punched onto the Obverse Die. Look at the picture that dwhiz provided of the true DDO variety.

It’s doubled but not a doubled die. MD or machine doubling at its best.

Doubling needs both to be the same height

Like Cheech says, they should be close to the same height, see this 1955/55 example and how they blend due to same height.
