Got this coin in change but can't find another 2011 Lincoln Cent like it. Sooooo..... need expert and wise comments. :)

This coin is exactly the same size as a dime. Thanks....

Looks like someone may have been trying the old "whittle down a cent and get a vending machine to take it as a dime" trick. With a zinc cent, they're going to be disappointed.

There's no "dime strike" here, and no "copper planchet". This is a Zincoln, ground down so much that the zinc is showing through the plating in spots. Value: less than one cent, because most machines likely won't accept it.

    No.

Think about it - a cent is 19.05mm and a dime is 17.91... the cent planchet wouldn't even fit in the dime's striking chamber.

Washer coin. Long forgotten for a few loads of laundry. Eventually noticed by its maker and spent in good faith.

Totally damaged after it left the mint. Not a mint error of any type.

This is a perfect example of why I so dislike the Zincoln cent.
