Need a little help please (my wife says that about me all the time) Can anyone identify what this die clash is? I'm currently watching this at auction. I've looked at the IHC overlays. But I can't see a match.

Yes. I can. He(she) (it) shot an arrow into the sky......with ribbons and bows.

The only place close is the arrows and what’s near them but that just doesn’t seem logical as the die itself would have to be rotated.

I thought about the arrows but it doesn't seem to match. then thought maybe it was some kind of strike through. I have no idea.

The hammer die (obverse) may have, at some point, come into contact with a rotated reverse die. The reverse die, sometime later, was then correctly positioned (or replaced) by a mint employee. That is the only reason I can think of that would produce the clash on the OP's coin.

For the enjoyment of the audience, I will now complete my poem:

...with ribbons and bows.... " I DON'T KNOW WHY".

    You are welcome. Continue.
