    EL Stater 7.69g. 23mm. dated year 512
    obv. Draped bust of King Rheskuphoris III of Bosphorus (ally of Rome)
    rev. Bust of Emperor Caracalla
    Mint? (my third Bosphorus EL coin)

    Thanks everyone!

    These guys (Kings) really ran their state into the poorhouse. This is reflected in their Staters, at first AV content was over 95%....then with my example 50% later as low as 5 percent gold.
