I'm new to this forum so please forgive me if I have posted this question in the wrong section. Yesterday I found what I believe to be an old coin that has clearly been made into a pendant. It is pretty worn so I hope that you are able to read the characters on it. It is 22mm in diameter. I believe it is made of silver and I'm afraid that I have no scales to give you a weight but I'd say it is just slightly lighter than an Australian shilling. I'm guessing that it is Chinese? Thank you for your responses. The link you included was very helpful and, indeed, there is a picture and description of this coin/pendant in it but this refers to the coin as being a different measurment and as being made of bronze so one would imagine that what I have is merely a replica of some description?!
