So I just investigated and found that the issue is being called a Doubled Die. Here is one listing..

Any thought about this variety? Is it a DDR?

 

From my very limited experience I wouldn’t know what else to call it. Although I’m not exactly sure if the mechanics involved here. Trying to learn. Definitely an oddity I plan to keep.

I don't think so most DDR the doubling is centrally located
