Well, I'll be. I just learned that there's a thing called "shell case" Lincolns. I looked up an article (which said they were minted from 44 thru 46, not 45 as OP's board says - I have no opinion on this matter!) Turns out some folks say they're more vibrantly toned than the pre-war copper cents. I'll look closer at these years from now on.

PS. Nice looking set, @dwhiz ! I love those old boards and have a few of them myself.
