1977 $1 bill without serial number or treasury seal

    i was at the ripleys believe it or not museum and they had a 1977 $1 bill without its serial number or seal! the green ink that they use for the serial number was very faint. you couldn't even read the numbers. what would something like that be worth?

    Alot. Awhile back, National Dealer made a post on another forum i use, that he got a LEGAL 100 dollar bill, with NO serial number. I think it was an '03. |He never said how much it wentfor, but i think another one (there was a total of 4 found) went for a VERY high amount.

    SanMiguel,if you want that note,you should buy it.I've seen a few older New Zealand decimal banknotes,especially $5 ones,with serial numbers inadvertently omitted.

    nah, i've given mr. don kelly quite enough business for the year- including this trio of notes: LINK
    being upside down has more of a dramatic effect than being completely missing, in my opinion.
