Guess I will be the first one and say 61. Don't like the scratches on the face, or the irregular blotchy toning by the rims.

Why is the date blocked out?

Because sometimes better dates get graded harder.

Looks MS61 at best with those "knife fight" marks across the face.

For some reason the hairline above forehead looks to have wear, when you compare with the ms 63

Better dates usually get better treatment. Not harder scrutiny ;)

No way this is 61 guys, it's either 58 or 63. Leaning towards 63 but...Where's the reverse?

Wait, are we grading the red dot one or the no reverse one? Red dot one is a solid 63 and could get a 64 bump if it's a better date cc.

1878 is so ugly and I would grade it MS 60. The other one with the block date is 63

Only by TPG's, not collectors. We know the date, anyway. Need to see the reverse before contemplating a grade.

The one with red covering date has reverse show. And you're correct TPG grade keys harder

You told us the date and grade. Why do you need to block out the date? And we can't grade your coin from the reverse of another one.

Because grading companies grade coins but the worst side,

No they don't. Generally they are more loose with their standards for key date coins
