I saw this on another forum that I frequent. I didn't even know these existed until now. Has any owned one or saw one for that matter? Can you believe the prices that their asking for these things and they're low-grade coins also!
Just goes to show you that people will make and people will buy just about anything.

I'm gonna guess that @potty dollar 1878 at least knew about them...

 

I don't have one but have known about them for years. They at least used to be pretty well known, along with the "opium" Trade dollars.

 

I knew about them.
I've even seen them for sale, but thought them to be over priced.

 

Kinda fun pieces but nothing I'm interested in. They've been around for years.

I have one that I can’t post on CT. If I did I would be banned for life. I’ve seen a number of these type coins but non like the one I have.
I don’t really collect these but the price on them keep climbing. I just recently purchased a potty half dollars which is on the rarer side. I may be able to post it once it arrives but I certainly can’t post the dollar I have.

 

Amazing the things people did to spend time before we all carried gadgets in our hands.

 

I find it more amazing the gadgets that we do carry nowadays. Lol

 

I find it amazing what they were able to do back in those days without the gadgets and tech we have today.
