She just came out of the "boil" in demineralized water and about to enter a bath of verdicare (not recommended by the maker, but it does work well on coins like this) didn't realize the pics were this crappy so you'll have to wait a few more hours for her to come out of the 2nd bath for better, but you can see she is already much improved from the sellers pics sellers.... After boil...
they looked alot better on the phone before i cropped em so i put em in the next bath... You'll just have to wait for better lol
I could say what She looks like right now, but I might get in trouble. I'm sure she will look better once her make-up is done up.
Ouch... from most recent pictures reverse does look pretty toasted. Hopefully it looks better in hand. At the price you obtained this 1857 large cent you really cannot complain - regardless of condition it is a solid win. Likewise I won this 1843-O dime for about $30 recently... which is about the cheapest I've ever seen an 1843-O dime in any grade sell for. Maybe a competent coin doctor could punch the plug out without damaging the actual coin... but it might be more trouble than it's worth.
she is finally out of her bath (fell asleep and didn't remember her till a lil while ago lol) Yeah she's still rough/corroded... but looking much more presentable 2 more with a lil light adjustment to bring them closer to "in hand" look
