Capped Bust Half Dimes - True Views

    ^^^ Thanks, when I purchased the coin, it was listed on EBay as a Half Dollar, LOL... If I'm not mistaken, that is a cud on the shield of you 1832.

    On the 1832:
    Unless it is from strange toning, that is one heck of a repunched F in OF.
    Not listed in Breen or Cherrypickers.

    L&M note that it is a "die bulge" in in the top of shield for reverse X.


    Yes, the F is doubled to the right and is noted a diagnostic for1832 LM-12 (reverse X). The same reverse (X) was also used on the 1833 LM-8.
