Heh. This is the first quarter my eBay bucks have been back in the black since I got "negative bucks" for a Buyer Protection refund a year or two ago. (They used to sometimes let the Bucks awards slide when you got a BP refund, but they apparently closed that loophole. Makes sense, but that negative balance was a bit of a disincentive to go shopping...)

Not sure what I'll do with my 13-odd dollars, but it probably won't be anything terribly thrilling.

I went on a spending spree a couple years back (personal crisis, long story, and many stupid purchases). I ended up getting a Texas Commemorative Half Dollar. It wasn't MS, but it was so beautiful and didn't cost me anything. :)

I guess my problem is that I don't see eBay Bucks as "free money", just an adjustment to the amount I'm spending. I factor it in when I'm looking at prices (so, for example, something listed in "Bullion" is effectively 2% more expensive than something listed in another "Coins" category). Counting it as free money on the expenditure side would be double-counting.

I'm not much fun to shop with. :meh:

I didn't spend enough to get any eBay bucks this time around but I did make use of a $15 off $50 coupon they sent me. I bought the key coin for the modern proof half dollar commemorative series. The going rate for the 1996 soccer is $105 but I got it for $54.99 after using my coupon. I guess I got lucky because the coin looks tons better than the pictures the seller posted. My set is almost complete, I just need the 2011 army to complete it.

I had about $63 in eBay Bucks - I've been putting together a proof set for my son (and another for my daughter), so I picked up a 2010-S PR70DCAM Yellowstone clad and a Yosemite clad quarter for him.

Not a coin, but I bought myself a new Star Wars model. Just something fun to build.

Well, the way I look at it, they don't have to offer the program at all. In that sense, it is free money. ;) Lifetime I've used probably about $600 worth but lost most of it back to ebay on the selling side if the truth be told.

I usually hover around 25 to $35 in ebay bucks per quarter. $28 this go around.

...07/02/2016 $215.27 eBay Bucks certificate issued...

For the past few quarters I've been trying to buy something "cool" with my eBay bucks....things I wouldn't normally waste money on. And coins are NOT in that category, because I'm always happy to waste money on coins, lol!
But this quarter, I parlayed those bucks into a purchase for my client who collects Circus memorabilia. I'll buy a few coins later, but this is what the bucks actually went towards:

That's cool! But I wouldn't know what was real and what was a reproduction.
