This thread is for coins of which we know where they were found. I know with some coins we aren't 100% certain, if it doesn't come from a known hoard and all we have is the seller's word, but this isn't the thread to discuss such things. Constantine I, struck in London, and found in Market Weston, Suffolk, England. (Used to own) Hadrian, from Rome, found in Ukraine: (Used to own) Antoninus Pius, from Rome, also found in Ukraine: (Used to own) King Eanred, Northumbria, from York. Has a bit of provenance: Ex Bolton Percy Hoard (1847); Ex William Fennell Collection; Ex "Property of a Nobleman" Collection (Christies Auction, 14 April 1981), lot 119; Ex Peter Moffat Collection (Classical Numismatic Group Electronic Auction 286), lot 574; Ex ValiantKnight collection Louis the Pious, from Venice, found in The Netherlands: (Used to own) Gallienus, Antioch(?), from a hoard of "Asia mint" coins (ok so I don't exactly know where this one was found but I felt that it was still somewhat relevant to this thread) Septimus Severus, from Rome, found in Yorkshire, England in 2010. So, what have ya'll got?

i have a strong suspicion as to where many of my coins were found, but i'm not sure about the majority. i do have some uncleaned coin that were detector finds, but i didn't keep track of which ones were from where.
A few of mine with claimed find spots on their tags. THESSALY, Lamia. Hemidrachm. "Domokos Area hoard" CARACALLA. SYRIA, Antioch. AE21. "Said to have been found in Beirut" POSTUMUS. Billon Antoninianus. "Ex Little Orme Hoard 1907"
Great coins guys! I remembered I had a Hadrian/Africa denarius that also was found in Ukraine but I thought I had a photo of it. If I find it I'll post it.
I was told that this denarius of Brutus was found in Portugal in the early 1950's in a hoard that terminated with Nerva. I somehow doubt it, but the wear indicates it circulated for a long time before being buried.
From the Carosino Hoard, 1905, IGCH 1928. From the Randazzo Hoard, Sicily, 1980, CH VII, 17, Plate 3, 50.
