    Found this quarter in one of my blue books and it looks like the planchet had an air bubble in it. Poor George!

    Looks like PMD to me. Don't see how planchet damage enters the picture.

    Clearly the famous goiter quarter, worth tens of thousands on Etsy. LOL

    Seriously, without any damage on the reverse, it appears to be a strike through of some type. Just my observation.
