so was checking my tracking on ebay tonght and had an alert I had won.. for $23.50 (opening bid) bid on it to see just how high this one would go once someone else caught the detail I did... 90% sure it's an s on the dime... but there is a similar shadow on the indian (yeah i'm dreaming lol)... but wouldn't that be funny lol
"Brother can you spare a Dime" ate the hell out of that figure 16 years later, though..... Not to mention millions melted, and who knows how many lost due to WW1. The history of the date is what I like.
Perhaps. But the 1916-S isn't valued much higher than the Philly issue at 22 million mintage. And in that condition, probably not worth much more than melt.
