1982 doubled die or MD cent?

    It almost looks like it was trying hard and heading in the right direction to be a doubled die.

    You have a good eye for detail! You're looking in the right spots.

    Also a very slight off center/misaligned strike and what looks like the start of a cud in the 9:30 position. But I'm probably picking at straws.

    Looks like that is a rim cud.

    Look at the rim between the "L" of "Liberty" and the "I" of "IN."

    What do you see?

    I see it now. It's a very small one, but it is a cud. My focus was directed to the date, making me miss it.
