My AV Dinar 4.83g./23mm Badr al-din Lu'lu (al-Mawsil Mint) 637AH (1239AD) These guys were successors to Zangids of Mosul Mosul is today an ISIS controlled city in Iraq. Crude strike
Very attractive dinar, Panzerman. I have this wary eye AE of Badr al-din Lu'lu (Lu'lu means 'pearl'; this ruler was born an Armenian slave). It's dated Mosul, 631 AD (1234 AD), but that's a frozen date used for several years. Weight 6,70 gr., diameter 23,09 mm. Not rare, but it has a a nice patina and a lot of appeal.
Cool coin, panzerdawg ... how is landscaping treatin' ya this month? (it's fricken Africa hot in northern Manitoba today!!) *awesome*
exactly => we're kickin' you guys lately (over 30 today and nasty sunny!!) => and no fricken sharks!!
Since you want heat so bad you can have ours lol but you have to promise to send snow down here when it gets cold up there. You might not have sharks (the ones down here only eat tourists anyways ) but you have bears, like, the man-eating kinds
Just got home, trimmed cedar hedges all day (13hrs) Well, it was not too bad 27 cel. with a nice breeze, better still one nice lady gave me three ice cold Coronas with lime wedges....nice service. I have not worn a shirt since May 12th/ I am about as dark as one from Africa! John
