I'm back and with a new name. Here's my best raw bust half dollar. I have a nice one, graded by PCGS with a CAC label, but when I try to scan it on my printer it comes out blurred. I guess I'll have to go back to taking pictures if it's in a slab, unless someone has a suggestion on scanning grading coins.
Welcome back. Nice looking half. Most folks give up on scanners. As a normal, scanners don't capture the true look of coins.
You're right, but they're so quick and easy to use, but they can be inaccurate. For example, the coin I posted doesn't have a ring ding, the scanner put it there. How? I don't know.
Acquired these 1832's over the past 2 weeks My GG Grandfather's Birth Year. Oops the last one is a 1832 Quarter (Low Mintage)
Cheap point and shoot(camera), with macro capabilities, runs rings around scans. What was your old name and welcome back.........
