Aes Grave, Sextans, Tortoise / Wheel

    Carausius Brother, can you spare a sestertius?

    Below is my recently acquired specimen, weighing 39.25 grams. Mine has no clearly visible value-mark pellets on the wheel side - there may be remnants of some, but it's hard to tell (Crawford recognizes that not all of these had value marks) - but it has nice detail on the segmented shell. Ex Elvira Clain-Stefanelli Collection.

    I even have the Aes Grave FROG Uncia from Luceria - Grain and pellet with a retrograde L.
