GTG Toned 1885 Morgan Dollar (PCGS)

    Howdy folks! Re-sharing a coin I picked up this month; I'd previously shared the picture but wanted to spin up a dedicated thread of good ol' Guess The Grade. This is my most colorful Morgan and top 5 most colorful coins overall. Can't get enough of this one!

    The picture is PCGS TrueView and the coin is housed in a new generation holder; however, based on the 7-digit serial number, this coin was definitely graded years ago and recently reholdered.

    Edit: Very pretty, just think I see a couple marks on the jaw...so saying technical 64. Worth a premium tho.

    With the minor luster grazes and some bag marks. I am at MS64. With maybe a bump for color.

    MS 63 ....I had one somewhat like this where the color was nice but the luster was muted; so despite the clean fields, it got a 63...I'm guessing the same happened here

    PCGS thought it looked like MS64+. I'll need to see if I can record and share a decent video to highlight how lustrous this one is. And when/if it's sent for a regrade, I'll share if it changes :)
